Vintage Butterick Sewing Pattern and Deltor 5388 Girls' Two-Piece Pajamas
Description: Pull-on long drawstring waist pajama pants. Pullover pajama top with frog closures with short or long sleeves and contrast cuffs, contrast banding, contrast collar banding, patch pockets with contrast.
This vintage pattern comes with the Deltor which was Butterick's patented instruction sheet. At the point in time when this pattern was made, the pattern pieces were all individually cut out, there was no printing on the pattern, and holes and notches were cut into pattern pieces to help the sewer know how to construct the garment.

Suggested Fabrics: Cotton crepe, Dimity, Nainsook, Longcloth, Batiste, Madras, Outing Flannel, Flannelette, Pongee. If making this garment for a child to wear as pajamas, please use flame retardant fabrics and trim according to the US Government Standards.
This is a vintage pattern Patented in the US August 19, 1919, January 23, 1923. The pattern itself is undated. All pattern pieces are intact including the Deltor (instructions). We can not tell if this pattern has been used or not with out opening and handling each pattern piece and we would prefer to keep them as pristine as possible. As we are not sure if the pattern is unused or not, we are listing it as used.
The pattern envelope has some minor wear, but is in very good condition considering it is almost 100 years old.
